I have an east coast shop space next to some hobbyist drag racers running CTS-Vs with the LS9s in ‘em.
I know how lame and out of it Cadillac is supposed to be. But these guys are showing 9.3 second timeslips for CTS-Vs running stock heads, block, internals, transmission (tuned) and rear diff and shafts.
The V series might have been a disappointment, but they are one stout disappointment.

How are things going car wise for you?

CTS-V is what I’d be driving if I could drive whatever I wanted. Maybe with a Roosh kit or something, but a CTS-V, for sure. And four doors.
If I had the dough, I’d search for a two-year-old CTS-V that some old guy owns who lives in a retirement colony on a golf course in Arizona.

I think this one would do very nicely, but I’d rather have grandpa rims...

Probably a disappointment from a sales, marketing, or brand image standpoint, but for enthusiasts I’m happy to know there are LS-equipped sedans with a MT sloooooowly depreciating into my range

Had the car towed the the shop. They are working on it today. Hes pretty quick but depending on what he has to order it may take two days is my guess. Will be happy to have my own car back. The fog light and cosmetic stuff will still need done but atleast it will be drivable.
